ACTE is currently searching for a hardworking individual to support the association in the fast paced and complex European region. Position will provide support to two European regional directors and coordinate projects and activities for the region. Individual must be located in Europe and have the ability to travel regionally.
The Association of Corporate Travel Executives (ACTE) is a not-for-profit association established to provide executive-level global education and peer-to-peer networking opportunities. Membership spans all of business travel, from corporate buyers to agencies to suppliers, and accords all sectors equal membership. ACTE serves more than 6,000 executives in over 80 countries. ACTE Headquarters offices are located just outside of Washington, DC in the United States with additional offices located in Africa, Asia-Pacific, Canada, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Responsibilities of “Contractor” Event Management Logistics/Events - In coordination with Regional Director, liaison with hotel, speaker support, tabulating evaluations, printing, shipping all onsite material, coordinate efforts of event planning committees, printing and preparing badges and attendee packets, provide onsite registration support Promotion - Keep website up to date with event details, membership promotions, press releases and other regional news. Coordinate marketing messages for events and membership Sponsorships - Assist with sponsorship customer service, communication and sales Membership - answer telephone, fax and email inquiries about ACTE membership - handle all requests for joining or renewing member - phoning non members to invite them to join ACTE - phoning about to be cancelled members to renew their membership - arranging and attending monthly regional committee conference calls This position is a contract, home-based position (no employee type benefits are provided).
