                                                            Hotel Sales Executive
 
Summary of the role
Ensure successful selling and adoption of the Amadeus hotel Marketplace offering to French Travel Agencies, with main focus on aggregator/wholesaler/Multisource content to Leisure & Retail Agencies. You will report both to the Local ACO Director and the Central Hotel Distribution Head of Sales Product.
 
Main responsibilities:
1.Sales of Amadeus Hotel Market place
- Drive the full sales cycle of Hotel Content (GDS and Aggregators), with main focus to grow the Amadeus aggregator partner installed base.
- Coordinate closely with Amadeus France's (ACO) sales force on commercial conditions.
- Work with central service bureau to shorten set-up and registration lead time.
- Target existing Amadeus GDS Travel agency client base as well as non Amadeus air-GDS clients.
- Collaborate on the Hotel market development plan with Local ACO sales mgt and Central Hotel Business Development and Channel mgt functions
- Request, plan and collaborate on marketing & sales campaigns. Represent Amadeus Hotel at conferences and trade shows
 
2.Customer Adoption
- Drive the customer adoption of the Amadeus hotel content (focus on Marketplace/aggregators and Hotels Plus product) within the new and installed Amadeus customer base
- Repeatedly visit/ engage with  customers to encourage usage and drive adoption of the Hotel Market place
- As responsible for volume of client usage (market place bookings by Agencies), raise bottlenecks and remove hurdles for adoption
 
3.ACO Sales Force Development
- Provide training & on the ground knowledge transfer to the local ACO sales force on how to qualify, sell & increase customer adoption of the Amadeus hotel portfolio/ Aggregator solutions
 
4.Development of local Distribution Partner Network
- Provide leads to Central Specialty sales & engineering teams
- Sell other Amadeus Hotel offering (e.g. LinkHotel), where appropriate;
- Become Knowledgeable of full Amadeus Hotel offering and related products (payment, back-office, BI...)
 
5.Provision of Feedback
- Sales pipeline mgt, sales & adoption reports provision, ad-hoc reporting to senior mgt
- Provide feedback for hotel content and product requirements to Channel mgr functions, Product mgt and Account mgt.
- Provide feedback to Channel development on sales, marketing and adoption techniques
 
Requirements
• Degree in  Hospitality Mgt, Business, Marketing,  or other field related to Hospitality & B2B distribution
• 5+ years commercial Experience in Hotel Distribution (Hotel Aggregator/ Wholesaler, Hotel OTA  in a B2B / B2C environment)
• Solid understanding of travel industry in general and specifically of the hotel distribution business model, aggregator business and hotel players.
• Understanding of GDS and travel agency distribution a plus.
• Strong Commercial Skills, sales experience and proven sales track record.
o Networking, negotiation & strong influencing abilities.
o Delivery focused, ability to work independently.
 
• Languages : English and French good working proficiency
• Computing: PC skills, especially MS- Excel: advanced.
